Dave`s Restaurant in Waukesha

Dave's is 5 stars for sure. The service is friendly, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable, making them a local favorite. The homemade corn beef hash is very good, as well as everything else I have tried. If you are looking diner style food this is the best place in Waukesha.

Stopped by for breakfast on my way home from a weekend trip. The food was delicious and was not overpriced at all. I also had the most amazing toast that I’ve ever had here. The service was great and our waitress was so kind. I will definitely come back here with my family!

Dave's Restaurant is one of my favorite all time go to places in Waukesha. I have been coming here about 25 years now. Great coffee. Smiling faces and always without a doubt fresh food cooked right in front of you. Fair prices too!

Great service and all the breakfast classics. Eat at the counter or grab a table with a view of downtown Waukesha. Why eat at a chain where no one knows your name when you can enjoy perfectly prepared bacon and a delicious omelette at a locally owned joint that’s a part of the local community?

This was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the host and offered a seat. Immediately she brought us waters and silverware and welcomed us. We had a couple of questions and she made some great suggestions. Then, she asked if we wanted to try the house made hot sauce for our omelette. We tried it and couldn’t get enough of it. Good food, great, friendly service is a recipe for success. We’ll definitely be back again.

Met my dear friend for breakfast and I was wowed by server's arms holding ALL OF OUR ORDER AT ONCE! Hadn't seen that in over twenty years! But really; the server was genuinely kind, attentive and perfection. The food was delicious, hot, and we enjoyed a great breakfast. This is THE FRIENDLIEST RESTAURANT EVER!!! I want this to be my fav eat out place!!!!! (And I live in Milwaukee!!!!). It will be well worth the trip. Next visit . . Lunch! Can't wait!!!!

Wonderful french toast was the topic of conversation before we entered in the doors. Got a seat right by the window which made it even nicer! Great service! Nice, cozy, and romantic for the first time I have been here. Thanks Dave's for a memorable experience.

I went there on a saturday morning with my girlfriend. We were able to sit on the patio and enjoy an amazing breakfast with great service and very pleasant conversation with our waitress. Many great options and breakfast specials at a very affordable price. Will definitely come back! Thank you!

Nice little dinner in the center of town. Service was very friendly and fast. A reasonable selection on the menu that wasn't too large so you can tell they know what they are doing.The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Would definitely go back and hit this spot up again!

If I could give no stars I would. I was very disappointed. I’m from out of town and wanted a good breakfast but I didn’t get that here. The pancakes were burned and so was the bacon. I wish I would’ve kept searching for other places. I still had to get food from another restaurant shortly after😞

Dave’s Restaurant has a comfortable setting, great service and food. Upon request Dave will customize any sandwich for me and takes the extra step to ensure my order is perfect. I have many favorites on his menu and especially like the pork tacos.I strongly recommend having lunch or breakfast at Dave’s. 😋

Tasty breakfast, especially with the house made hot sauce. Nice combo of sweet (blueberry pancakes) and spicy (house special, and spicy bloody Mary's!). Love coming to Dave's with the family

Today was my first time coming to Dave’s and I am very glad I came here. The omelette was to die for and the service was great and friendly. I will definitely be coming here more often and will definitely be bringing my friends here since we go to school down the road!
